My
Hi,

I'm Dami, the heart and soul of D.Beffect. I’m a Toronto-based makeup artist and educator who believes beauty is more than how it looks. It’s how it feels. My work is rooted in skin-first techniques, intentional glam, and a deep commitment to helping people feel like their most elevated, confident selve's whether that’s on set, on their wedding day, or simply on a Tuesday.
I started D.B.Effect with one goal in mind to create a space where artistry met' authenticity. Where makeup isn’t about hiding, but enhancing, where beauty feels accessible, professional, fun, and deeply personal. Whether I’m doing your makeup, teaching you how to do it yourself, or curating your beauty kit, I’m here to serve with excellence, ease, and care.

Over the years, I’ve worked with everyday women, brides, creatives, corporate professionals, and on-camera talent. What do they all have in common? They want to look like themselves — just more polished, more radiant, and more at home in their skin. That’s what I specialise in: makeup that celebrates your features, respects your individuality, and stands up to real life.
STORY

My signature style is clean, glowing, and sculpted with touches of play and creativity when the moment calls for it. I’m known for my attention to detail, how I prep skin, and the peaceful experience I create while doing your makeup. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every face I work on is a new canvas, and every client I meet is treated with the same care I’d want for myself.
Beyond makeup, I’m an educator at heart. I offer 1:1 lessons for individuals looking to improve their personal routine, as well as pro-to-pro sessions for artists ready to sharpen their skills. I also provide in-store personal shopping experiences for anyone who feels overwhelmed by beauty aisles and wants expert guidance on what to actually buy.

My mission isn’t just to apply makeup , it’s to empower you with knowledge, comfort, and confidence. When you sit in my chair or learn with me, you’ll never be rushed, judged, or left confused. You’ll be heard, taken care of, and fully seen.

If you value artistry, softness, and professionalism with a personal touch I think we’ll get along beautifully.

Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to work with you.
